This video tutorial will show you how to setup an E-mail in Outlook 2010, which creates a user using IMAP by default, but in this tutorial we will show you how to make a POP3 user!
Don't forget to create E-mail you are going to use in hosting control panel!
In video we used domain iqtop.lv as an example, so you will need to use your domain instead of iqtop.lv . For example, if your domain is domain.lv, setting will like that:
IMAP (or POP3) server (Incoming mail server): mail.domain.lv
Login: User_name@domain.lv (Usually it's required to only write User_name, but you actually have to use User_name@domain.lv)
Password: <Password that was chosen for this e-mail account>
Port - 143 - if using IMAP protocol, when also is enabled SSL - port 993
Port - 110 - if using POP3 protocol, when also is enabled SSL - port 995
SMTP (Outgoing mail server) also should be - mail.domain.lv
(For Outlook application you will need to specify - My outgoing mail server requires authentification) You will need to turn SMTP (Outgoing mail server) authentification.
User: User_name@domain.lv
Password: <Password that was chosen for this e-mail account>
Port: 25
or 587 - if your internet provider blocks the 25 port.
